Jemeluk – The Artificial Reef

The mermaid statue of this artificial reef gives this dive a mystical touch as fish take shelter underneath and inside the structure. Made out of pH neutral cement the smiling mermaid sits at a depth of 10 meters and can be found 30 meters  from the shore. The dive itself presents a large bio diversity for divers wishing to see more rare sea life such as the ornate ghost pipe fish and mimic octupus. Also common to this dive site are the frog fish, nudibranch, shrimp, moray, flat worm and the puffer fish. It’s a very easy dive and is great for snorkelling too.
