It is not a problem. You can do a Discovery Dive. This is not considered as a diving certification, we explain you during 45 minutes the basic of scuba diving, and you have to make 4 basic exercises in shallow water to make sure you will be comfortable in the water. Then you go do some exploration with your instructor. Each dive generally length for about 45 minutes, at a maximum depth of 12 meters.

The second option is to pass your PADI Open Water Certification with us. it take 3 days, and cost 4.800.000 Rps with 3 nights free. You can have more details in the Course section.

A lot of beginners feel some anxiety when diving for the first time, and it is completely normal. In Fab Dive, we work experienced professional only. We have been diving in the area for many years, and we know the dive sites and conditions perfectly, so we will always make sure that you get the best of your dives. Your instructor will take the time to explain you everything about your first dive, and answer your questions if you have some. You don’t have to worry: diving is incredible, and this will be for sure your best experience of Bali.

Get a diving certification level in Fab Dive will take you from 2 to 3 days depending on what certification you want to get. To find out more about our certification courses, check the course section.

If you dive with us for the first time, you will be asked to answer a medical questioner. If any answer is positive, you will need to consult a doctor before diving to obtain a certificate of capacity ability to dive. If you already are a certified diver, a medical certificate is not compulsory to dive in Indonesia. You will sign a discharge of responsibility PADI in which you certify to be healthy. All our instructors speak English and French, and most of them also speak Spanish and Indonesia. In Fab Dive, you can follow all our courses in those three languages.

Fab Dive is a child friendly dive center. Kids car start discovering scuba diving from 8 years old with the Padi Bubble Maker program. No prior experience with scuba diving is necessary, but they should be comfortable in the water. Then, they can start following courses to get certified from 10 years old. In Fab Dive, we provide special diving equipment adapted for kids.

In Fab Dive, all the diving equipment is included in the price of the dive. We also have special equipment adapted for kids. If you have your own equipment, you will get a 10% discount on your dives.

When diving with us in Amed, you don’t even need to get on a boat. Indeed, many dive sites are accessible from shore. It is really easy and convenient.

In Fab Dive, our main concerns are your security and you comfort. We will always make sure that you get the best of your dives. For this reason, we try to make groups of a maximum of 4 divers, even during high season when we are really busy.

The price of diving depends on you experience, and if are already a certified diver, or if you are new to diving. For those who haven’t dived before, we offer the Discover Scuba Dive from 1.000.000 for 1 Dive and  1.300.000 Rps for 2 Dive. The divers that are already certified will pay 900.000 Rps for 2 dives from in Amed and Tulamben, or 500.000 if they only do one dive.

Fab Dive Center accepts cash payments only, in Indonesian Rupia. There are fews cash machines in the local village where visitors can withdraw money.

We do! First of all, you will get a night free in a 4 or 6 beds dorm in our villa for each day of diving with us! Also, for 10 dives, we offer you a 10% discount on the price of the dives. For 2 certified divers who have their own equipment (excluding the weight belt and tank which we will provide) we also offer a 10% discount on the dives.

Yes! We have different kinds of room for all budgets, from the free dorm for divers, to the private bungalow with view on the volcano. When diving with us, you can get free accommodation in shared room of 4 or 6 persons in the villa of the dive center. It is a very nice place with a tropical garden, kitchen, high speed wifi, and a relaxing area with hammocks. We also have others dorms, and private bungalows and rooms with AC, hot water. We will give you a discount on it if you dive with us.
In addition, Fab Dive Center has many partnerships with hotels and private villas in Amed. Whether you’re looking to rent a small private hotel room or a luxurious family villa with an infinity pool overlooking the sea, we can offer great discounts for exclusive places for our customers.

Of course! We do night dives on the USAT Liberty Wreck for experienced divers with Advanced level or above, and at a price of 600.000 Rps.If you are just Open water, you can pass the Adventure night Dive with us, very easy and cost 1.000.000 rps only, then you will be certified as a night diver.

Yes, you can dive with Enriching Air Nitrox with us, for an additional fee of 60.000 Rps on your dives. The only requirement is to have the Advanced Enriched Air Diver certification. You can also pass this certification course with us in Fab Dive. It is the most popular speciality course of PADI, and especially here in Amed. Indeed, it allows the diver to practice scuba diving with enriched air nitrox, a nitrogen gas mixture with a high oxygen concentration – usually 32% of oxygen. In other words, this is 11% more than what is found in normal air!
The use of nitrox for a diver gives more no decompression time, a way to stay down longer, and go back in the water sooner.

Yes! In Fab Dive, the comfort of our clients is one of our main concern. If you are staying in the Amed area, we can pick you up and drop you after the dive. Otherwise, we have can send you a good and cheap driver to come to Amed. To find out more about our drivers fees, click here: Prices.

Fab dive is a child friendly dive center. First of all, you have to know that your children can dive from 8 years old thank to PADI Bubble Maker program, and start following courses to get certified from 10 years old. If they are younger than this, or not ready to dive yet, we can take care of them while you are diving.

To dive with the giant manta rays, you need to go to the island of Nusa Penida, located between Bali and Lombok. We organize day trips with departure from Amed, or south Bali. 3 fun dives with transport and lunch included are at a price of 2.800.000 Rps per person. We pick you at your hotel and take you to Sanur or Padang Bay to take the boat, the journey is about 45 minutes to an hour, depending on the weather. We do the first dive on the Manta Point, then we go to Crystal Bay to have lunch and dive a second time. Then we go back to Sanur or Amed. Usually we come back around 16h-17h. It is really an amazing day!

We are located on the east cost of Bali, just at the entrance of Amed, protected from the tourist crowd and still amongst the traditional rural life. Just before arriving in Amed, you will see a big blue sign saying Fab Dive, very easy to find. We are also on Google map as Bali Fab Dive Center. If you come with a shuttle bus, you can ask the driver to stop at the corner where is the sign, then it is only 100 meters walking to reach the dive center. CLICK HERE TO FIND US ON GOOGLE MAP.

You will find the closest beach at the end of the street, just 800 meters away from our dive center. It is a black sand beach, great for muck diving. Otherwise, the local coast line has many beaches, from sandy to rocky, which are great for diving and snorkeling.

There are three local “warungs” within walking distance of the dive center, providing Indonesian and Western food at cheap prices. There are also many restaurants in the local village which have locally caught fish, high class Western and local food catering to all diets including vegetarian and vegan.
