Kubu – Coral Garden

The Kubu reef is situated off the beach in shallow water sloping down to a wall where an impressive pinnacle lies, full of hard and soft corals .

The coral garden presents a contrast in textures and colors, like fanned out gorgonian coral.

Here many schools of fish can be found. Groups of chevron barracudas and fairy basslets often frequent the coral garden and for those who look a little closer, the brightly colored nudibranchs and pygmy seahorses can be seen.

Such shallow clear waters make this bay a haven for snorkelers as well as divers.

Being situated in the Bay of Kubu, this dive can sometimes have current, but when light it is a great place to learn diving or for those wishing to perfect their photography skills.
